The Tough One postponed

The 2010 Tough One scheduled for January 23 has been put back to February 20 after snow and ice severely affected the Nantmawr Quarry venue.

The location of the T1 on the Welsh border is one of the most badly affected areas in the UK and after having looked into several long-term and in-depth weather forecasts the promoters WOR have taken the decision to postpone the event one calendar month.

“The event is too special to allow this kind of weather to detract from it and the organizing team agonized with the situation before making this sensible decision,” says WOR head man Steve Ireland.

“This is now the sixth running of the event and the first to be beaten by force majeure!”
