Your Guide to 10 Days of Supercross at the NEC

10 days of non-stop off-road indoor festivities are being put together for the ground breaking OFF-ROAD ZONE at this year's Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter show at the NEC in Birmingham from November 27th to December 6th 2009.
The focal point of the off-road zone will be the British Supercross Championship track which will host the first two rounds of this year's Future West ACU British Supercross Championship on Saturday November 28th and Saturday December 5th.
If you are going to be competing in the British Supercross Championships or going to the show as a fan to cheer on your favourite rider your head is probably spinning with the staggering amount of activities and information associated with the event. Help is at hand, we have put together an information package to help guide you through the when, the where and the how's of this unique event.

REGISTRATION: The ACU is handling all entries for the British Supercross Championships. Forms and regs can be downloaded from fwsx.com and posted to the ACU. The ACU can alternately be contacted on 01788 566400
There are opportunities for riders entered in the NEC Supercross events to ride additionally in two of the daily exhibitions that will be held on the Supercross track on none-race days. Please see schedule below:
The classes competing for ACU British Supercross Championships this year are:
Auto, 65cc, Small wheel 85 cc, Super mini, Youth Lights, Clubman Lights, Clubman Open, Open Quad, SX 1 Pro, SX 2 Pro and British Open Pro.
EXTRA TRACK TIME AT THE NEC
In addition to the two Saturday race days, the NEC track will host 3 daily Supercross exhibitions on the other eight none race days which will include a Pro head to head exhibition, a Pro race exhibition and two support class exhibitions. A limited number of riders (on a first come first served basis) will be accepted for all classes to be part of these exhibitions. All classes will have an opportunity to participate on two consecutive days. The open pro class will be included on all exhibition days.
*Please note that exhibition days are not classed as races. No points or trophies will be awarded. Each class of the day will be out 3 times per day between 1 pm and 6pm.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
With a maximum of one full gate per class on exhibition days there will not be spaces for all. With this in mind special arrangements have been made for optional paid practice sessions for all riders registered for rounds 1 and 2 at the NEC on each Friday before the NEC race days. Each class will have the opportunity to take to the track three times per evening. These practice session will start at 6pm and end at 9pm. To participate in exhibition or practice sessions please contact the ACU for cost and details.
