MX2-GP World Champion Antonio Cairoli stormed the Grand Prix of Portugal at a sun-soaked Agueda circuit in front of 18,000 spectators to win both motos and claim his first victory of the season and also take the lead in the 2008 standings after three rounds of fifteen.

Toni Bou – Repsol Montesa HRC returned to the top of the podium today in the second day of competition at the USA grand prix, the fourth scoring day of competition in the FIM 2008 SPEA Trial World Championship. Winner of day one in the USA grand prix, Takahisa Fujinami – Repsol Montesa HRC finished in second position with Adam Raga – Gas Gas taking third.

Justin Brayton, showed up in Seattle to compete in the West Lites Supercross class. Brayton got a decent start in his heat rounding the first turn in 4th.

Takahisa Fujinami – Repsol Montesa HRC today threw the FIM 2008 SPEA Trial world championship wide open by taking victory in the first of two days of competition held in Sequatchie, USA. Reigning World outdoor and indoor champion and Fujinami’s team-mate, Toni Bou – Repsol Montesa HRC finished second with Albert Cabestany - Sherco taking the remaining podium position.

A sun-blessed and roasting Grand Prix of Portugal at the stunning Agueda circuit was the perfect remedy for the FIM Motocross World Championship after the sea of rain and mud that washed out the Spanish visit last weekend. The splendid stage for round three of fifteen, south of the city of Porto, witnessed the Yamaha Monster Motocross Team score a double podium result with David Philippaerts finishing second and Josh Coppins third on the works YZ450FMs.

Krefeld, 26th April 2008: Both French riders Remi Bizouard and Romain Izzo took the first two places at the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in Krefeld. Libor Podmol got the "Bronce medal".

Reds Bull KTM riders Tyla Rattray, Tommy Searle and Rui Goncalves all put in good results in the qualifying races for Sunday's MX2 Grand Prix with Rattray winning race one and Searle second, Goncalves sixth in race two.

Red Bill KTM MX1 factory rider Max Nagl put in a difficult day on the track in Aguela, Spain ahead of the Portuguese MX1 Grand Prix on Sunday, suffering from slight sunstroke from the hot Portuguese sun.

Preparations for the 2008 Irish Motocross Grand Prix which will be held at Fairyhouse Race Course located near Dublin City on Saturday and Sunday August 30th & 31st. Moved up a gear this week following the successful meeting with representatives for the FIM, Youthstream (promoters of the MX1/MX2 World Motocross Championships) and The Motorcycle Union of Ireland at the Fairyhouse Race Course venue.

MDK KTM riders Nick Wey and Justin Brayton made history when they both qualified for the Supercross main event aboard their KTM 450SX-F machines marking the first time two KTM 450's have ever competed in the Supercross main event.

The 2008 FIM SPEA Trial World Championship moves to the USA this coming weekend as the small rural town of Sequatchie in Tennessee prepares to stage round three of the series. The purpose created Trials Training Centre, will once again host two days of competition, as it did back in 2006 when the championship first visited this venue.

Yamaha's Chad Reed battled through the pain of his fractured shoulder to take a decent second position to main title rival Kevin Windham in front of almost 49,000 fans last weekend at the Edward Jones Dome in St Louis for the fifteenth round of seventeen in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship, also an FIM World Championship.

The second round of the FIM Motocross championship has been marred by rain and treacherous conditions at a muddy Bellpuig circuit in Spain. Factory Yamaha Monster rider, Josh Coppins posted a first moto 4th place before the second moto was cancelled due to impossible riding conditions.

James Dabill maintained his 100% record in the 2008 Italian outdoor championship, with another win at round three, to make it three victories from three starts. Dabill’s margin of success on this ocassion was a massive twenty-four marks over runner up Maurino. With James’ nearest title challenger Lenzi pegged back to third place this time out, Dabill has further extended his lead at the top of the general standings.

Max Nagl of the Red Bull KTM MX1 factory team tackled mud, ruts and pouring rain at the Grand Prix in Spain to salvage two championship points on a day where the conditions were so bad the second race was scrapped.
