Club Reports

The Surrey Youth Motorcycle Trials Sports Club held its trial on Saturday at Brackenden near Staines, it was the fourth round of the Chris Norman Novice and Beginners Shield.

In the Beginners Kaylee Ayres was the young lady on form riding all eight sections feet up and clean, also matching Kaylee's clean day was Oliver Durrant who also had a faultless day, both riders were really smooth around the tight turns of the Brackenden course and deserved their maxium points in the championship.

Gabe Hunt lost her only dab of the day on the tricky fourth section, Zak Whalen rode the fourth section well but lost his three on the first section over some mounds and around trees.

In the Novice class Luke Hora stayed clean and indoing so took his second win of the season, Morgan Watmore dropped nine marks on the second section, his sister Izzy had a unwanted five missing a marker.

Hannah Moore has up-graded to the Novice class this season and rode superbly. She also found the second section the hardest astride her Beta machine.

The support riders seemed to cope with the sections the best with the top five riders all within seven marks of the winner Jonathan Bannister. Elliott Tickner is right at Home on his bigger Sherco bike and only lost two marks, one in front of Ethan Watmore. A very good event, roll on next month.
