The 2017 Arenacross Tour powers into Sheffield on Saturday (February 11) for the penultimate round of the series and with just 12 points separating the top six Pro AX riders the main championship is wide open.

Cedric Soubeyras (RFX St Blazey Suzuki) has a four-point lead over his team-mate Angelo Pellegrini who's tied on points with defending champion Thomas Ramette (SR75 World Team Suzuki).

Adam Chatfield (Buildbase Honda) is two points further adrift in fourth with a three-point advantage over fellow Brit Jack Brunell (Team Green Kawasaki) who in turn leads Florent Richier (Keystone Honda) by three points.

American riders Collin Jurin and Dylan Schmoke have been drafted in for the final two rounds of the tour. Jurin, who's currently leading the US Arenacross championship, raced the series last year before sustaining an injury.

Schmoke is a newcomer to the sport in the UK but turned professional in 2011 and has extensive indoor and outdoor experience.

It's also tight in the Pro Lites championship where Yannis Irsuti (JK Yamaha) leads Chris Bayliss (Buildbase Honda) by six points. Dylan Woodcock (Team Green Kawasaki) is also in contention just four points behind Bayliss.

In the Pro Team stakes RFX St Blazey is 18 points clear of defending champions SR75 World Team.
