Competing in this years World Enduro Super Series, the Newcastle native sitssecond overall in the championship standings having claimed victory at the opening round of the series - Extreme XL Lagares, in Portugal.

Further success came for the Husqvarna rider in 2018 with fifth at the world-famous Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble in Austria and fourth place at Red Bull Romaniacs - the worlds toughest hard enduro rallye.

Along with his outstanding outdoor results, Bolt also placed an incredible runner-up in this years FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. In his debut indoor season, Bolt secured multiple race wins and podium results as he raced to second overall.

With a strong pedigree in trials and enduro confirmed, the Husqvarna rider is excited to sample his first taste of beach racing at Weston-Super-Mare and will be a welcome addition to the wealth of world-class talent taking to the Hydrogarden Weston Beach Race start line in October.

Billy Bolt:Im really looking forward to competing at the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race for the very first time. Its such an iconic event and one I grew up with, but never had the opportunity to race until now. When I stood on the promenade last year watching it I decided then that I had to come and race this year.

"The track looked awesome, especially the start with so many riders charging down the main straight. The atmosphere is also incredible too, the whole weekend feels like a dirt bike festival of sorts, which is really cool. As its my first beach race Im not carrying any major expectations into the race.

"I know theres going to be a lot of world-class talent on the start line with a lot of experience in this type of racing. But that said, I do feel like Im riding well at the moment and know that I should be able to adapt to the sandy conditions. If I can go there and give it my best shot, Ill be happy with the outcome.

Gareth Hockey (Director of RHL Activities):Were delighted to have a rider of Billy Bolts calibre come and race this years HydroGarden Weston Beach Race. He is unquestionably a very special rising talent and as such were looking forward to seeing him make his beach racing debut with us.

"With competitors like Billy coming across from a trials and hard enduro background it goes to show the importance of a race like Weston. Its the UKs biggest dirt bike race and the addition of Billy to our line-up of world-class talent is testament to that. We wish him all the best in what will be the 36th edition of the race."
