Red Bull Romaniacs winner Wade Young and SuperEnduro World Champion Cody Webb head the billing at the 2018 Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro, August 18-19.

Wade Young and Cody Webb will head the strong international line-up of Colton Haaker, Manuel Lettenbichler, Mario Roman and Travis Teasedale at this years Tennesse Knockout on August 18-19.

The eighth running of the Tennessee Knockout has an international world class rider list heading the strongly supported event based at the Sequathchie Trials Training Centre.

KTM will have a strong team of riders aiming to take the 2018 Kenda Tennessee Knockout title. Cody Webb and Josh Toth from the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team will be joined under the KTM tent by Ben Kelley and Germanys Manual Lettenbichler whos on a strong run of form in 2018.

We havent seen much of 2017 TKO winner Cody Webb outdoors this year. After taking the SuperEnduro World Championship the newly formed World Enduro Super Series took riders to Portugal and the Extreme Lagares before heading to Erzberg where Cody crashed and put himself out of action for much of the summer so far.

The TKO will be his first major race back from injury.Sherco Factory Racing also confirmed both Wade Young and Mario Roman will be competing. Both riders are past podium finishers at the TKO and will be a serious threat to take the win.

Young just won the Romaniacs and though still just twenty-two years old, is an established contender in Extreme events. Young has previously won the Hells Gate Enduro in Italy and the tough multi-day Roof of Africa in his home country two times. Wade has also finished second to Cody Webb at the 2016 TKO and will be gunning for the top step this time around.

Mario Roman also has major wins to his credit and made a last-minute decision to compete at the TKO last year to good effect when he joined Cody Webb and Graham Jarvis on the podium in third. He too will be back looking to apply what he learned last year to earn the win.

Though he has yet to make the podium at TKO, Colton Haaker knows the terrain at the Trials Training Centre well as a youth trials rider he spent many hours training there before switching to EnduroCross and Extreme events to huge success.

Though the TKO runs across the weekend, the Pro riders main event on Sunday uses a unique four round Knockout race format that is challenging for the riders and entertaining for the fans.

The course layout provides a lot of great spectator locations with some unbelievably challenging terrain for all four Knockout rounds.
