Talent Knight for Gas Gas at Tough One

Hard Enduro Gas Gas David Knight
The Gas Gas UK Enduro Team had a very impressive outing at the infamous Tough One. Enduro legend and crowd favourite David Knight had great podium result on his new EC300GP.
David had a great start and came through early traffic well with Graham Jarvis and Paul Bolton.
A whack on Davids calf didnt seem to faze him but obviously its not nice to try and race especially while footing through the real technical parts. David rode the event sensibly and without any issues.
When the race settled he knew Graham was long gone so he settled into a speed he could maintain easily for the race distance and get on the all-important podium, which Team Manager John Shirt was very pleased with.
Tom, Juan & David
Davids brother Juan Knight won the Exp Vet class again and finished fifth overall. Juans race prep is very casual and nothing seems to bother him. His pure riding talent is great to watch. Tom Knight had a great ride finishing second in the Clubman Class.
Tom got a bad start and initially struggled to come through the slower riders on the first few laps. However Tom didnt get rattled and just picked his way through the field nicely to finish second at the flag. Such big talent from the Knight family!
Dawson Marriot has been very consistent of late and had a great race and was looking for an easy second in the Clubman Class before his centre clutch nut came loose on the last lap forcing him to stop but he still finished sixth without his last lap counting.
Dawson was the first rider to congratulate his friend and rival Tom Knight at the finish. He just shrugged his disappointment off and said thats racing which was very mature for a 17-year old.
