Jonny Walker is ready to put his best foot forward when the 2015/2016 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship begins in Lodz, Poland this Saturday, December 5.

Determined to build on his final position of third overall in the 2014/2015 series, Walker is eager to start things off with a strong performance this weekend in Poland.

Recently finishing a busy but very successful Extreme Enduro season, one which saw him win six out of seven events, Walker has been busy preparing himself for indoor enduro.

Delivering a confidence boosting victory over defending SuperEnduro champion Taddy Blazusiak at the last month's Enduro Extreme Indoor in the UK, Walker is eager to carry that momentum to the Polish series opener and do all he can to get his SuperEnduro campaign off to a strong start inside the Atlas Arena in Lodz.

Jonny Walker: "I feel ready for it this weekend. I'm probably the most ready I've ever felt entering an opening round of a championship. It's an important year for me and I really want to establish myself as a championship contender from the word go.

Ending last season with two race wins and the overall victory at the final round in France is a massive boost of motivation for me. Despite a pretty long Extreme Enduro season, that feeling of victory from France has kept me focused during training and testing for this new series.

Winning the Enduro Extreme Indoor was also a great result. I know that the level of competition will be much higher in Lodz, but I really do feel good in my riding. I felt great on my bike and with the track. My lap times were consistent and fast and my starts were on point too.

I know everyone is hungry to win in Lodz, everyone wants to kick things off with a victory. But if I can continue the form I've been producing lately then I know I've as good a chance as anyone of claiming the top step of the podium.”
