Motocross AMA Supercross

KTM may be based out of Austria with their main United States office in Ohio, but when it comes to Supercross the San Diego round can be considered home turf with how close it is to KTM Race Team shop and R & D facilities.

Both Martin Davalos and Josh Hansen came out this weekend with a fire in their eyes. Easily into the night show with fast lap times during timed qualifying things continued to improve as Hansen battled for the lead during his heat, while Davalos hung just outside the top three.

When the gate dropped for the main event Davalos got another one of his patented good starts aboard his trusty KTM 250 SX-F, while Hansen also grabbed a good start and the two teammates rounded the first lap in third and fourth places respectively.

Constantly battling every step of the way through the main event Hansen would end up passing Martin and finishing fifth place. Davalos was not far behind finishing in sixth place.

That's it for the West Coast swing until April 28. Next week its Atlanta and the East Coast swing of the series gets underway with Mike Alessi, Jeff Alessi and Zach Osborne battling for the championship on their KTM 250SX-Fs.
