By Press Release on 24th Mar 21

British Motocross Championship

Following the last couple of months working closely with the ACU, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, FIM, Infront Moto Racing and the devolved UK Governments we have the light at the end of the tunnel to go racing.

The 2021 season for the Official ACU British Motocross Championship for Adult and Youth riders will get underway on May 1st and 2nd at Culham in Oxfordshire. With Foxhill and Lyng taking place during May and all other rounds continue as per the original schedule.

More information will be published in the coming days in regard to the class allocation to each round.

"The team have been working tirelessly over the past couple of months with the ACU, DCMS, St John Ambulance, FIM, Infront Moto Racing and the devolved governments to get everything in place for us to go racing in 2021," said RHL boss Gareth Hockey.

"I understand pushing the start of season back to May, may not be ideal for many, however, this will allow all our riders the opportunity to get in a months worth of bike time before the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship gets underway. The team and I look forward to seeing you all at Round 1 at Culham."

Update May 28, 11:11 BST: 2021 Foxhill MXGB round moved again. Foxhill has been moved to June 19, which removes the clash with the opening round of the FIM Motocross World Championship as event organisers work to try and fix date conflicts.

Update May 14, 16:14 BST: 2021 Desertmartin cancelled. There will be no round of the 2021 MXGB series in Northern Ireland following an update on restrictions.

Update April 21, 18:00 BST: A revision has been made to the Foxhill round of the 2021 ACU Revo British Motocross Championship following a meeting with the Safety Advisory Group. The 2021 MXGB schedule has been updated below.

Update March 31, 20:29 BST: Further changes have been made to the series but the 2021 ACU MXGB Championship still starts on May 2 at Culham. There are no changes up to and including Canada Heights but you should take note of the changes to the rest of the dates after the series organiser was forced to make changes after MXGP revised their dates.

Update March 27, 09:45 GMT: Duns and Whitby have their dates switched. Pontrilas has been removed and Little Silver is back in the schedule. The table below has been updated to reflect the latest revisions.
