Ecosse revs up for third Winter event - can you challenge Husband?

By Press Release on 20th Jan 18

Motocross

The third of the four-leg Ecosse XC Rock Oil Winter Series heads back to, what the majority of riders cite as a perfect winter track, at Dunbar on the south-east coast of Scotland next Sunday, January 28.

The club has enjoyed terrific support from northern-based riders so far, with an impressive tally of over 200 riders turning out for its first two events. For most riders, the fact that the landowner and club pay so much attention to the track condition, run an almost military-style programme and ensure everyone can leave before dusk, is as much of a bonus as the close and competitive racing.

Sponsored by Rock Oil, Drysdale Motorcycles and Wulfsport, this next event will again run four adult classes A, B, C and Vets as well as classes for rookies, youngsters and quads.

Signing on opens on Saturday, January 27 from 2pm and again from 7am the following day. The action-packed programme will, once again, get underway with practice on the dot at 8.30am.

Entries are now open via www.mcfederation.com. The 45 adult/35 youth entry fee includes the provision of marshals. MCF day licences are available. Book in early to avoid disappointment.

Challenge Husband

Calling all fast northern-based A-class riders can you challenge North-East ace Carlton Husband? If so the club wants to hear from you; contact Ecosse XC via its Facebook page.
