European Motocross Internazionali d'Italia

We're now just over a month away from the start of the FIM Motocross World Championship, which means there's little time left for teams and riders as they make their final preparations for the first MXGP round in Argentina on March 2-3.

In what has become an important part of pre-season for many World motocross stars, the Internazionali d'Italia MX gets underway this weekend at Riola Sardo in Sardinia.

Ahead of both Hawkstone International and Lacapelle International, it's the first look at some of the top riders in World motocross including Red Bull KTM Factory superstar Tony Cairoli.

De Carli Racing and the nine-time world champion loves Sardinia and when you look at Cairoli's results in recent years you can see why.

With the exception of 2016 when #TC222 was injured the Sicilian star has only been between once when, in 2015, Gautier Paulin took the MX1 victory ahead of the home fans' idol.

Racing starts on January 27 at the circuit "Le Dune" Riola Sardo for the seventh edition of the Sardinian race and we'll bring you live streaming from 13:15 hours (local time).
