IT'S NEARLY NASS time and everything's in place to make it the biggest and best extreme sports festival ever seen in Britain. The show takes place on the weekend of July 16-18 at the Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet and IT'S NEARLY NASS time and everything's in place to make it the biggest and best extreme sports festival ever seen in Britain. The show takes place on the weekend of July 16-18 at the Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet and athletes from around the globe will be battling it out in the many different disciplines. There'll be top bands performing as well as all the skate, snowboard, BMX, mountainbike, inline, go-ped and mountain board action you can handle plus the big daddy of all extreme sports - freestyle motocross!Britain's best FMXers including Jamie Squibb and Chris Birch will be going hard at it to beat off some of the best European riders around including recent IFMXF Night of the Jumps winner Sebastian Wolter for massive amounts of prize money.dbr recently caught up with the crazy Upforce team-leader to see what he has to say about coming to NASS '04.dbr: Sebastian, tell the folks at home just who you are.SW: "My name is Busty Wolter and I live in Berlin, Germany. I love to ride my bike and I hope to never grow up although I do turn 27 years old real soon."dbr: Happy birthday mate! So why are you coming to England?SW: "I will come to England to ride at the NASS event. I've never participated in a FMX event in the UK and I wanna fill that gap in the map of places that I've been. The UK has some awesome FMX riders and I'd like to join them busting big in their own backyard."dbr: Will you bringing any of your crazy German friends to NASS with you?SW: "I hope my Upforce riding buddy and Germany's hottest FMX youngster Freddy Peters will join me on my trip. Or maybe Fab Bauersachs can make it."dbr: You were scheduled to ride NASS two years ago but you didn't quite make it over. Why not?SW: "I would have loved to ride but unfortunately I smashed my left ankle during an X-Games qualifier in April 2002. This injury took me out of action for six months and I'm sure the crowd didn't want to see me trying to jump the gap on my crutches. Luckily, I'm healthy now and can come as promised!"dbr: And finally, what can the NASS crowd expect from you?SW: "I won't be bringing Sauerkraut and potatoes over, that's for sure. They can expect to see a big bag of good tricks, a rider who has lots of fun riding and who hopes to transfer this fun onto the crowd. I'll also be doing plenty of nice goon riding in between my jumps."/WIN! WIN!
