Gabriel Motocross has confirmed their three-rider roster for the 2021 season with John Adamson, Liam Knight and Josh Peters all returning for another term.

Adamson enjoyed a solid season in MX1 last year, finishing in the top-10 of the MX Nationals championship standings with his best result coming at the final round, finishing on the podium at FatCat.

The KTM rider also delivered on home soil, taking victory in the Scottish Motocross Championship with a 1-1-2 scorecard.

But for next season Adamson will step down to the MX2 class. Im most excited about the new challenge of racing in the MX2 Class, he said. I feel the team has everything in place to make me as prepared as possible for the up-and-coming season. Evo-tech has made a very competitive race bike for us and I feel the combination of the two stands me in good stead for achieving my best results next year.

Knight will stay in the MX1 class where last term he finished just outside the top-10 after missing out on the final round.

Commenting on his decision to stay with Gabriel Motocross, Liam said: The team knows exactly what we need to be able to improve and never stop learning. With Simon Gabriels support as well as incredible bikes to ride, great engines and suspension and good people and brands who we work alongside this all makes it a lot easier to push to the next step.

Pre-season training is already underway to prepare for what is hoped will be a full return to the busy racing calendar.

All the riders have mapped out a busy training schedule for the first three months of the year leading up to the start of the season, which includes riding, rowing and running. Adamson and Knight will also be spending all of January in Spain at the teams dedicated training centre.

This year tested the resilience and patience of everyone on the Gabriel Motocross team but were thrilled to be able to prepare for what looks like the return of the Motocross schedule we know and love, said Team Manager Simon Gabriel.

With that in mind, our team is raring to go to deliver their best performance yet next season and I cant wait for our fans to see it.
