Jocke Karlsson: Swedish motocross legend in for VMXdN Foxhill

By Press Release on 9th Jun 22

Motocross VMXdN Foxhill

Swedish motocross legend Jocke Karlsson will line up in the Super Evo class at the VMXdN Foxhill event to be held at the iconic Wiltshire circuit on August 25,26,27,28 and 29th, which is the August bank holiday in the UK.

Karlsson is no stranger to the British MX scene, primarily riding for the mighty RWJ squad in the 90s and, of course, the factory Kawasaki JHK team. Karlsson is a three-time British champion, six-time Swedish champion, and two-time Motocross des Nations bronze medal winner and now holds an influential position within the industry in his home of Sweden.

The legends don't stop there! Supplying and building Jocke a seriously trick 1996 Honda CR250 to race is former RWJ and HRC mechanic Mick Aldous. He was a mainstay character on the British and world championship scene for many years, being a mechanic for world champion Stefan Everts in 1996 being the highlight of his career. Mick always has a smile on his face, and if you get a chance to catch up for a beer, he has some hilarious stories of travelling the FIM Motocross World Championship through the 90s.

The VMXDN Foxhill is rapidly shaping up to be the biggest event on the UK motocross calendar, with ticket pre-sales being brisk on the Eventbrite website.

However, we advise early booking as camping for the four-day festival is filling up fast!
