Interest has been sky-high and the series was massively over-subscribed even before final details had been confirmed. "People were sending their money to register even before we'd publicised our dates and venues," says Ken. "It's great that people who raced with us last season are so eager to come back again." For '03 the Hydrex Komatsu-backed series will use a new three-race format for the 125cc and Open class pro divisions and a special financial prize for teams – valued at £1500 per round – has been introduced which is already attracting interest from some of the big Euro outfits. The series kicks off at Matchams Park in February and takes in Leisure Lakes, Douglas Point on the Isle of Man, Foxhill and Donington Park before signing off at a as yet unconfirmed venue in September. Additional backing has also been secured from Yamaha, Honda, KTM, Kawasaki and TM/VOR – support that's delighted Ken. "We have a whole host of sponsors who have committed to the series and we're really grateful to them," he adds. "With their support I'm confident that the series will continue to grow."
