Moto GB British Supermotard ChampionshipLondon, England - November 10th 2006Aprilia Confirm Expansion For 2007 Moto GB Contingency Programme.

Aprilia Off Road continue to demonstrate to both competitors and other British off-road importers alike, that their solid support for UK Supermoto Racing is set to get bigger and bigger.  In a sport recently starved of motorcycle trade support, Aprilia's unilateral action is sure to shake up their competitors and engender loyalty from the growing number of SXV Supermoto riders.

Hot on the heels of their initial contingency programme announcement in October, Aprilia Off Road have confirmed today that both Dunlop Tyres and Nitro Helmets will support the Aprilia initiative with Moto GB in 2007.

In addition to the prizes shown below which are on offer at each round of the series, the individual competitor scoring the most championship points aboard his or her Aprilia SXV 450 in 2007 will win an all expenses paid trip to the final round of the Italian Aprilia SXV Challenge where he or she will be provided with an appropriate machine for the weekend to take part in the ultra successful Italian one make series.

Factory teams and Aprilia UK supported teams are not eligible for the contingency programme which ensures that winners will all be privateer riders.

The contingency programme is only open to Official Aprilia UK Off Road imported machines and competitors will be required to pre-register in order to be eligible for prizes.

The table below shows what a 2007 Moto GB Competitor aboard an Aprilia 450 SXV riding with Dunlop tyres and a Nitro helmet could hope to win.
