A month after climbing back on his Husqvarna FC 250, Roan van de Moosdijk has been passed fit and ready to make his FIM Motocross World Championship return at Lommel this weekend.

Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing has confirmed the Dutch ace will compete in the 14th round after recovering from the multiple injuries sustained at round three (MXGP of Patagonia-Argentina Villa La Angostura) in March.

Roan says he is now looking forward to joining teammate Kay de Wolf at the most demanding sand track on the MXGP calendar. "It has been a very tough injury, but everything has gone really well and I will be back at Lommel," said Roan.

"It has been a good few weeks on my FC 250 and I am looking forward to racing in the FIM Motocross World Championship again. I will head into the sand without any expectations and then try to build for the rest of the season. Thanks to the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing team for sticking behind me."

Steering the season back on course

De Wolf's results have dipped from his early season high since returning from a fractured metacarpal. No doubt, though, he will recall his moto win at Lommel last year and look to that as the fuel to reignite his season. Despite missing three rounds, the 17-year-old is in ninth place in the series standings with little pressure from the riders below.

The team's EMX250 rider Maxime Grau will also be in action this weekend. After missing the first five rounds with the Epstein-Barr virus, the French starlet made a big splash on his EMX250 season debut with third place at Teutschenthal.
