MXGP AMA Supercross Max Anstie

Still without a ride after splitting with his Standing Construct KTM team, Max Anstie is weighing up his options for 2020 and may head Stateside if he can get a deal although his main focus remains on the MXGP class.

Im doing the best that I can to try and push everything along but its not easy, he said. Im pushing some things in America but theyre so slow with figuring out what theyre doing. If Im going to be going to America to do supercross and motocross next year I need to be out there now and Im losing time by just not knowing what Im doing.

Im hoping as soon as possible I know what Im doing but were just waiting and seeing. Ideally, I want to stay in the GPs I think that would be the best thing for me. Its not easy but well figure it out.

Max missed out on a ride in the Motocross of Nations the traditional end-of-season shop window after being diagnosed with a punctured lung but the good news is that hes now fighting fit.

Im doing all right. Were back into winter riding now. Its crazy. A few weeks ago everything was good but its been raining so much and everywhere is wrecked.

Im still riding and training just to keep sharp and get back to 100 per cent with my lung and my shoulder but I dont know what Im preparing for although I feel back to normal again. I know I wont be on this bike next year so it sucks a little bit.

The Nations would have been lovely to do but to be honest it looked pretty wet and horrible.

It was nice to get a bit of luck on our side with a last-lap problem for the French and I thought the conditions were perfect for our boys Nathan (Watson) with his enduro experience and we know what Shaun (Simpson) is like, he loves that so it was awesome and I was really pleased for them.
