If you were looking forward to rippin' it up on your new PS5 console with the enhanced version of MXGP 2020 this Christmas you're going to feel disappointed after the release of the title was pushed back.

Milestone and Infront Moto racing has been forced to look again at the release schedule for the new Motocross World Championship videogame as they grapple with remote working and associated challenges in the current climate.

However, they remain committed to delivering the next instalment in their motocross franchise and are using the time to "deliver the best game experience for our community on all platforms", Infront said in a press release.

The current release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC/STEAM, originally planned on December 10, thankfully only has a short delay, moving to December 16.

The game release for the PlayStation 5 has been put back from the planned December 10 to January 14, which is a blow for Christmas pressies.

Those of you lucky enough to get hold of the Xbox Series X/S will sadly not get an enhanced version of the title.

With MXGP 2020 you can fully experience the excitement of the current MXGP season, competing with 68 riders from both MXGP and MX2 categories on the 19 circuits of the 2020 season. Starting as a rookie, players can choose their path to glory: joining an official team or creating their own.
