2018's MXoN Team GB is to be awarded by the ACU this Sunday at the Bewiser Hawkstone International.

Team captain Tommy Searle, Max Anstie, Ben Watson and team manager Mark Chamberlain will be presented to the crowd during the lunch break (around 12pm) and given an award on behalf of the ACU and interviewed briefly prior the start of the main races.

The British team was promoted from fifth place to third following Team Italy's disqualification from the RedBud Motocross of Nations when Michele Cervellin's motorcycle failed an FIM fuel test.

"This is a tremendous achievement by not just the riders but also the manager and everyone involved in the Team GB effort," said ACU MX Committee Chairman, Steve McCauley. "There will be an FIM medal ceremony at the British GP however with the huge crowd expected at Hawkstone we felt it was the perfect venue to show our appreciation and present this special award."
