Stewart Tex it again in Houston

EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas, so the saying goes, and inside Houston's Reliant Stadium, last Saturday night, Kawasaki's James Stewart took that mantra to heart as he came from behind to demolish the competition for his biggest winning margin of the season so far and his fifth victory from six starts in the 2007 AMA Supercross Series.

Riding a more controlled and conservative race than he has of late, Stewart made the most of a distinctly below-par performance by championship rival Chad Reed. He took his time to move through the field from a seventh place start before cruising to a huge 17-second winning margin over Reed and team-mate Tim Ferry, who lead for the early part of the race and triumphed in a race long battle with a rejuvenated Kevin Windham for a podium finish.
