Jack Brunells winter SX campaign is continuing to pick up momentum and the Berkshire indoor specialist has just competed in back-to-back events in Poland and Holland.

After a solid sixth in Poland he travelled to Arnhem for the European SX Championship where sixth fastest in timed practice saw him transfer straight to the points-paying races.

"In the first final I had a poor start and was in 12th on the first lap,” he said. "I kept pushing the whole race and ended up getting sixth so was happy with that - I rode good and strong.

"In the second final I got boxed in off the start again. I found the track tougher and ended up getting eighth after pushing the whole race.

"I had an okay start in the Super Final and was running sixth for half the race but made a mistake and ended up going down and hit my head.”

Brunell's back in action in Holland this weekend at the Zuidbroek supercross.
