SSDT 2019: Only 50% of riders got in - now it's time for lucky ones to pay up

Scottish Six Days Trial

As the clock ticks on towards the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial, which will take place from Monday, May 6 to Saturday, May 11, the time has come for those riders lucky enough to bag an entry to PAY UP!

And this year you are lucky indeed if you have been accepted to ride the best trial in the world as no fewer than 541 hopefuls sent in their entry forms for the circa 280 places available.

Of course there had to be a ballot, with obviously only 50 per cent going to be successful so if you got in you need to be grateful.

All successful entrants have now been informed but the club have decided not to release an entry list to the public.

What they are doing is publish an ongoing updates list of riders who have PAID their entry fee on the clubs website.

This allows riders to check that their fee has been received and acknowledged by the club.

It will be updated on a regular basis.

As of January 19, already 37 riders had guaranteed their ride with payment in full.

You have until February 20 to pay but obviously the earlier the better for the club.

If you are unable to take up your entry for whatever reason, injury or work commitments, PLEASE inform the club ASAP.

This allows them to re-allocate your entry to the next rider on the reserve list and allows them to make their plans, book accommodation etc.
