Maxxis Henderson LPE Kawasaki has confirmed a full rider line-up for the 2011 season with the announcement that popular rider, Bryan MacKenzie, will be part of the Lincolnshire-based team.

Joining the previously signed riders – Connor Walkley and Gert Krestinov – in the official Kawasaki Motors UK motocross team, the line-up represents one of the strongest Kawasaki assaults for motocross racing honours in recent years.

Team principal, Steve James, has announced that MacKenzie will contest the Red Bull Pro Nationals, the Maxxis British Championship and in mutually agreed selected Grand Prix event.

Bringing some excellent sponsor interest to the highly respected team, MacKenzie and his fellow riders will enjoy the support of Madison who will be supplying Thor and Ogio products as well as race clothing.

Steve James is well aware of the tough year ahead. With the team now complete he intends to embark on a gruelling winter training regime with the riders including deep sand practice in Europe.

"We kept a close eye on Bryan as he rode a privateer Kawasaki during 2010,” explained James.

"I made a mental note to approach him as soon as the season was over. Naturally I hope that as part of a comprehensive team structure, Bryan can realise the full race winning potential we all know he possesses in abundance.”

For Kawasaki Motors UK, racing coordinator, Ross Burridge, was unequivocal in his support for the talented Scottish rider: "I was really keen to keep Bryan on a Kawasaki for 2011. He is a great rider and markets himself really professionally. I am glad we have struck a deal that suits all the parties concerned.

"My gut feeling is that with the support of Steve and the Maxxis Henderson LPE team, Bryan will be a regular on the podium in the year ahead.”
