No racing again for me last month.

I was aiming to race the last ACU round at Little Silver, but it was just too early with the collarbone injury.

I did ride the bike in the week leading up to it but with no bike fitness and little strength I decided to give it a miss, as there was not a lot to gain.

I travelled down from home on the Sunday morning to watch and see my team for the day.

It's never great for a rider to be watching when they should be riding but I did enjoy the racing, especially MX2.

Things have been up in the air with regards to what I'm doing next year.

I was invited by Suzuki on a two-day test at Apex on the new production 2013 250F and 450F models.

It was good to ride again and I had a lot of fun doing pictures and videos.

Both bikes were really good, some small changes in the 450 for the better and the 250 was just a really nice bike to ride, easy to corner and throw around.

But over the days leading up to the Dirt Bike Show everything has come together on what I will be doing next year.

I will be racing Maxxis British and the Red Bull again – on a Honda through a new project with Dave Thorpe.

Alongside the racing for 2013 I will be heavily involved with Honda off-road ride days and training schools.

This is something I'm really looking forward too, but obviously the racing and results are a priority.

It's a new challenge and it's been 12 years since I last rode for Honda.

That was before four-strokes, I was riding a 125.

I'm excited to say I will be continuing with Fox clothing for next year – Mark and all the guys there look after me very well and keep me looking good on the track.

I have to say thanks to Philip and Adam for this year. They were true to their word when we first sat down and agreed the contract.

Honesty is sometimes hard to come by and I thank them for that.

Also a big thank you to Paul, my mechanic, he's a great worker and gives nothing but 100%.

Also to Davey, Phil, Stu and Martin, it was great fun with you all.

Not to forget George and all at Suzuki GB, Tyco and all the team sponsors for their help and commitment.

And thanks once again to all at Tyco Suzuki.
