HIMXs big early season Hawk International Motocross is really beginning to take shape and with less than six weeks to go some of the top British riders have signed-up to race the first major meeting of the UK season.

To be staged at the infamous Hawkstone Park circuit, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire on Sunday, February 10, it should be a great start to the 2013 season.

The Maxxis Kawasaki by LPE team has entered its full team, including former British MX1 champion, Brad Anderson, who will be making a welcome return from a year in Australia and will be racing at one of his favourite tracks.

Anderson: "It was good to have a year racing in Australia and it was something different, but I'm glad to be back racing in the UK.

"Hawkstone is one of my favourite tracks and the LPE Kawasaki team have been great and I just want to get started now and have a good season with some good results.”

Joining the Geordie at Hawkstone will be fellow team-mates up-and-coming Dorren Coutts and youngster Connor Walkley.

A host of other top British Championship racers will be competing including Nathan ‘Nez' Parker, Scott Elderfield, Jamie Law and of course Tommy Searle in the MX1 Class.

In the MX2 class top Irishman Graeme Irwin will be racing the Heads & All Threads Suzuki. Add to that Liam Garland, Dan Thornhill, Adam Sterry, South African Neville Bradshaw and the Watson pairing of Ben and Nathan.

The event is once again scheduled to appear on MotorsTV.
