The organisers of the new Ringwood Club Wayne Parker and Steve Ellis are no strangers to running motocross events, as was proven by the organisation of the recent Graham Noyce Challenge Cup where over two hundred competitors competed at Owselbury.

THE new year of 2012 begins with the welcome addition of a new club along the South Coast in the shape of the newly formed Ringwood Motocross Club Ltd (MCF) who have affiliated to the ever increasing ranks of the MC Federation run by Matt Bates and Roy Barton and will be running an 11 round Club championship series.
Membership for the club is now open to all ages from Automatic 50cc, Junior 65cc, Small-wheel 85cc, Big-wheel 85cc to the Rookies (Youth Senior) classes. Adults will also be very much looked after with a MX1 class for 18 to 30 years and a popular MX2 group for Veteran's over 30 years and Novice riders together.

In addition to the club's first eight Club Championship and Elite Youth League rounds there will be something very special for all Auto 50cc competitors in the launch of the ‘2012 All South Coast Auto Championship' where goody bags, prizes and surprises along with trophies at every round and all competitors to receive a trophy at the end of the series. The best seven rounds will count towards the overall championship presentation of awards. The championship welcomes riders from the ages of six to nine years with all abilities catered for even special awards for the Best Girls, Best Effort and Rookie Novice riders will not be going home empty handed.

Another addition the Ringwood MXC Ltd have to offer is for the 14 to 18 year olds with the shape of the 2012 Rookie's 125cc Championship Series which will see the Rookie (Senior) 250F competitors and the 125 Rookie (Senior) pilots scored separate over the course of the season with in the Club Championship series.

It was good to hook up with Wayne and help in the relaunch of a club in the southern area” commented MCF general manager Roy Barton "I am sure that with Wayne and Steve's enthusiasm and history with running events they will quickly make a success of this new venture and we are pleased to be a part of it”
