Arenacross merges London rounds into one epic finale

Arenacross Tour

The London and final round of Arenacross has always been one of the shining lights of the tour, but with such technical difficulties and an even shorter window to create the event than usual, they have been forced to combine the events and stage one amazing show on Saturday 22nd February.

Understandably Arenacross is an exceptionally difficult event to produce and its not getting easier, explained tour promoter, Matt Bates.

And due to reasons way out of our control, as much as we have an incredible crew of staff, theres no chance of us being able to build our event in just 24hrs; Weve also got a potentially bad spell of weather cutting across the country next week, and despite the event being staged indoors, transporting dirt in bad weather through the UKs capital city can cause huge delays and safety concerns when building I am personally really sorry to anyone that has been affected by our decision.

Brian Hsu (Pro Lite) has a 24 point lead over Charles Le Francois (Pro 450) in the overall AX Pro title race but with double points on offer for the London finale, the title is still very much up for grabs.

In the Pro 450 title hunt, Le Francois has a slender eight points lead to defend against fellow Frenchman (and multi-time AX champion) Thomas Ramette. And over in the Pro Lite class, 21-year-old German Hsu has huge 46 point lead over reigning AX champion Cedric Soubeyras.

London has seen plenty of drama before and we wouldn't be surprised to see more of the same on Saturday 22nd February.
