Sherco sign Junior World Champion for 2019 EnduroGP

2018 Junior World Champion Matteo Cavallo has signed with Sherco Racing for 2019 EnduroGP season.
At the age of 24, the young Italian who was the top dog in the 2018 Junior EWC, has joined Team Azzalinand will race Sherco in EnduroGP next year. Cavallo fills the gap left by Matt Phillips at Azzalins team and the team hope Matteo will spearhead Shercos GP efforts.
Matteo Cavallo:"I am very happy to sign my first contract as an official rider! I am honored to join Team Azzalin, Fabrizio is an Enduro legend and on top of that, a very good person. This is a big step forward in my career, and now we will get to work to have a very good season with a great new bike.
Fabrizio Azzalin :"We were looking for a young rider with good potential, Matteo is the reigning Junior World Champion, we could not hope for better. I wanted him on the team and after discussions with Thomas Teissier (general manager) and Jordan Curvalle (Team Manager), we all agreed that Matteo was the best option for us.
"We are going to have a young and motivated group of riders in 2019. We are building our future world champions! Matteo is going to make his big debut with the " big guys " and the goal is to be competitive right away and get him on the podium."
Jordan Curvalle :"We are very happy to have Matteo with us!He is a very hardworking young rider who knows where he wants to go .... along With Fabrizio we are happy to have one of the promising young Italians, we will work with him to help him become an outstanding senior rider.
