Full steam ahead for Fast Eddy’s Winter events

Full steam ahead for Fast Eddy’s Winter events

After a busy couple of months in the run up to the very successful Enduro GP at Hawkstone Park, it’s full steam ahead for Fast Eddy Racing with preparations for a number of winter events.

With the growing following for extreme events, Fast Eddy are pleased to announce a three-round winter extreme series that caters for Novices through to Clubman (no Experts or Pros).
They hope that this series will allow riders who do not have loads of experience at extreme events to try out and get a feel for them.

It will also cater for the experienced rider, who likes a challenge, by making sure that there are some ‘hard’ routes as well as the ‘easy’ sections for those who are just starting their extreme experiences. Eddy may even throw in the odd ‘NO HELP’ zone to spice it up even more.

Each event will run over two days where Saturday will be a practice day from 9.30 am until 3.30 pm on half of Sunday’s course and then Sunday there will be one 2.5-hour race starting at 11am until 1.30 pm. Trophies will be awarded at all events for the top three in each class.

Eddy has tried to price each event sensibly with Saturday being £30 for adults and £20 for under 16’s and Sunday at only £55 per rider.
If you fancy both days you can save yourself a few quid with the special two-day rate of £75.

After the very successful event last year the final round, which is being held at Westwood, will also feature a Saturday night race which is free to ride for anyone who has paid to take part in the main event.

Starting with round one at Cowm Quarry on October 28/29 the series is set to give non-experts a chance to get some serious extreme bike time.
