The ACU British Timecard Enduro Championship makes a return to Scotland with the eagerly awaited new venue at Gretna.

The Michelin REME 2 Day Enduro will take place over the weekend of September 16/17 with the event being held all on private land near Canonbie.

Team REME have set a 20-mile lap consisting of forest, moorland and farm land, including a few streams to keep it technical and enjoyable for all classes.

The route will include one enduro test per lap, this along with refuelling, ensures all will be within close distance of the paddock.

Brad Freeman goes into this event with an 18-point lead over nearest rival Danny McCanney, while Jamie Lewis - fresh from winning the C2 class at the recent International Six Days Enduro - is currently third.

Hot on his heels is Jack Edmondson returning from his recent wrist injury and Alex Snow who is enjoying a good first year in enduro.

Others hoping to shine will be youngster Dan Mundell who had an awesome debut in the ISDE. Joe Wootton, Lee Sealey and Fraser Flockart, all claimed gold medals for Team GB at the ISDE and are riding well.

In the highly competitive Experts class, on-form Alex Walton will be hoping to catch early series favourites Jay Thomas and Bradley King.

Others to lookout for are ISDE Trophy Team rider Kevin Murray, Jon Hunt, Roger Holland, Jordan Ridgeway plus Andrew Bissett and Marc Evans, who both hope to continue their fine form after bringing home gold medals from the ISDE earlier this month.

In the Clubman class another close battle will commence between Fred Adams, Allyn Taylor, Harry Hillier-Rees & Lewis Ranger, all capable of taking class wins on their day.

Rosie Rowett will no doubt pick up where she left off at in the Ladies class, but Ellie Cooke is back in action after recovering from injury.

Both Andrew Edwards (Over 40's) & Paul Davies (Over 50's) will take some beating in their respective classes.

The event will start from Solwaybank Farm, Canonbie, Gretna. DG14 0XS.

Signing-on and scrutineering will take place on the Friday between 3pm - 7pm.

First riders will start at 10am Saturday & 9am Sunday.
