Enduro Todd Kellett

Todd Kellett has taken victory at the second round of the RESS (Rhayader Enduro Super Series), the King of the Hill Hare and Hound at Cwmythig Hill. The Yamaha rider got off to a steady start but found his feet a few laps in and once the grass tore off and some bumps and ruts began to appear, he was back into his natural habitat!

Early leader Harry Edmondson took the holeshot, but he hit the deck on lap one giving the lead to Alex Snow, followed by young gun Henry Yardley. When the chequered flag fell it was Kellett with the overall victory, followed by Snow and Yardley on a 125. He did very well to hold his own on the small bike and rode a great race to achieve his first Championship class podium.

In the ever unpredictable Expert class it was Max Ditchfield who topped the results sheet, followed by Ben Murphy with a great ride from Dean Edwards to secure last place on the box! The Clubman class was won by Martin Williams from Liam Ryland. In third place it was Richard Jones. Within the Clubman there is a separate Under 19s class which is great for bringing younger riders into the enduro scene.

This award was won by Matthew Harries who impressed a lot of people. Second place was current BEC Clubman leader James Palmer, and in third was Kris Price.

Tim Forman, in commanding form, was rewarded with victory in the Over 40s. Next best was William Jones with Anthony Griffith bringing it home. In the Over 50s Colin Griffiths blasted across the line first, followed by Philip George and Carl Davies.

Zoe Zemruszki took top honours in the Ladies, showing grit and determination along the way! In the Sportsman A class, young hotshot Jack Probert took the win followed by Aaron Bates who made his return to racing. Pete Bailey was third.

In Sportsman B it was Leigh Nicelin who stood on the top step after the 2.5-hours, and one step lower was Jake Lewis. The final step was taken by Thomas Woodward.
