Albert Cabestany, finishes fourth in the Spanish Trials Championship. Albert Cabestany failed to make the final podium of the Spanish Trials Championship by a single point.

He finished third in the last round of the series which was held near Tona in the locality of Barcelona. The Sherco rider accumulated several points in the first lap but recovered enough to finish in third place ahead of his closest rival, Jeroni Fajardo who had a better first lap. However today's third place finish did not give Albert enough points to move ahead of Jeroni in the final classification. Albert finished the series in fourth place one point behind Fajardo.

Albert Cabestany: "To finish the Championship one point out of third place makes me feel bad, but the positive result is that we have arrived at the last round of the Championship with a very high team rapport and are achieving consistent results. Now I am going to concentrate on the next round of the indoor Spanish Championship, where I am in second place only two points behind the leader.”
