ASHLEY Greedy was on fire at round one of the Maxxis British Adults Outdoor Supercross championship as he won all his heats, the MX2 final, and the Super final, on his 250cc Honda.

The people at the Norfolk Arena on the out-skirts of King's Lynn had put in a lot of hard work making this event possible, even concreting over the speedway tracks infield, complete with a large amounts of drains to take away any access water.

A large amount of earth suitable for the track was shipped in at the cost of £4,000, and a track rideable for all level of riding skills was built for the rider's enjoyment and the crowd's entertainment.

There was only one problem, not enough riders bothered to enter for a full evening of racing!

Race programme was simple enough with two heats in both MX1 and MX2 classes, with six from each, plus another two from the Last Chance Qualifier joining them in the two finals, and the top five from them going into the Superfinal.

Greedy won the first MX2 heat by a big margin while Luke Burton, on his KTM had a runaway win in the second, after Chris Pharaoh crashed his Yamaha out of the lead.

Jason Morland, riding a Yamaha, cruised to a fine win in the first of the MX1 heats after fighting off the attentions of Ben Howard and his Honda for the first half of the race.

Greedy was out on his own in the second heat with Paul Smith fending off Will Kerry for second place.

Aaron Raynor and David James Farrant made it through to the MX2 final by way of the LCQ, while Steve Bixby and Paul Caldwell did the same in the MX1 LCQ race.
