A sticky time at Armthorpe

MX92 TOOK its final open meeting of the year to Armthorpe in Doncaster where, after a cold wet windy week, the track conditions were generally sticky but drying nicely as the day progressed.
First out were the Adult Open where Sean Ecclesley was chased hard in both races by Mark Reynolds. Ecclesley took both wins and Reynolds two seconds. Bat-tling behind were Anthony Kither, Luke Hawkins and Michael Brunt who changed positions all day eventually finishing third, fourth and fifth.
A quality field of Adult 125/ 250 set themselves up on the startgate. Ashley Greedy, Ashley Harland and Luke Burton were the leading pack setting a blistering pace bringing good viewing for the riders and visitors. Greedy took the first win closely followed by Harland and Burton, but the second race saw Harland take the win with Burton pushing hard to take second and Greedy third. The group following were Daniel Hope, Nathan Rookes and Gregory Fisher.
Youth 125cc saw some recently upgraded riders on their new machines and looking comfortable. Ashley Cotterall took a well deser-ved win in race one closely followed by Adam Bailey and Jake Boyes, but race two saw Bailey taking a nice win from Cotterall and Boyes. Overall winners on the day was Bailey from Cotterall and Boyes.

Junior: 1 Jack Heath, 2 Sam Wragg, 3 Rob Davidson, 4 Stu Boater, 5 William Wall, 6 Gradie Featherstone.
Auto: 1 Jamie Osbourne, 2 Ben Kind, 3 Todd Ritchie, 4 Toby Clark, 5 Ben Hays, 6 Josh Wilkinson.
