Toni Bou Repsol Montesa HRC made it two wins out of two days of competition at the Grand Prix of Great Britain, the third scoring round of the 2009 SPEA FIM Trial World Championship. As on the first day of competition runner up spot went to Adam Raga Gas Gas with the remaining podium position being occupied by Albert Cabestany Sherco.

With five of the fifteen sections modified from day one, the course waschanged from yesterday, but it was not the hazards that were to provethe challenge to Bou. The young Spaniard was beset with problems withhis bike early in the day resulting in a spectacular crash in thefourth section when the bike lost power at a critical moment. Thisfailure early in the lap gave Raga the advantage, but with him droppinga five on the tenth section and Bou's bike problems having beenidentified as a blockage in a breather pipe and resolved, the pair weretied on eight marks apiece going into the second half of thecompetition.

Raga

Bou took the advantage after Raga dropped a dab in the thirdsection, but a five from Bou in the sixth hazard, which he cleaned onthe first lap, handed the lead back to Raga. However, another five fromRaga, again on the tenth section assured Bou of his fourth victory inthe championship to date.

Bou now leads the overall series standings on ninety seven points withRaga nine points behind on eighty eight. Cabestany remains in thirdposition, nineteen points adrift of Raga.
