Heavy rain in Belgium this week has had an impact on off road sport.

The Belgian round of the FIM World Sidecar Motocross Championship scheduled in Genk this weekend – July 13 – has been cancelled because of the impact of severe weather conditions at the circuit.

The calendar has been amended as follows:– 

World Sidecar-cross Champs

April 13 – Oss, HOLLAND

May 4 – Plomion, FRANCE

May 25 – Kramolin, CZECH REPUBLIC 

June 9 – Brou, FRANCE

July 20 – Strassessenbach, GERMANY

August 3 – Kivioli, ESTONIA

August 10 – Kegums, LATVIA

August 24 – Roggenburg, SWITZERLAND

September 14 – Vesoul, FRANCE
