The final round of the St Blazey MX Premier Motocross Championship will be staged at Landrake Moto Parc on Sunday.

In the St Blazey MX Expert Championship it's Jamie Skuse, last year's runner-up, who has a 92-point advantage over Dan Thornhill in the standings with Kelvin Townsend in third just 51 points adrift.

Two-stroke hero James Kensington is only eight points further back in fourth and there is a strong line-up including Todd Kellett - who has dominated the last two rounds - plus local star Josh Gilbert along with 2016 champion Jordan Carter and wildcard Jake Shipton.

In the RC Motorhomes Two-stroke MX1 series reigning champ Leighton Holmes saw his lead cut to just 19 points at the last round and knows that Ben Milward will be looking to pile the pressure on.

Other riders looking to do well will include the likes of Leigh Williams, Gareth Northam, Henry Ebbutt and wildcard Adam Harris.

The Two-stroke MX2 Championship is led by 15-year-old Tom Darlow who heads the standings by 139 points and barring a disaster in the opening race should clinch the title.

Wayne Shimell goes into the final round in the Over 35 class with a 44-point lead over Darren Banwell but Shimell knows he can't afford to make any mistakes so the pressure will be on him.

In the Over 40s it's last year's champion Stuart Rawlings who leads but he had his advantage reduced to just 26 points at the last round by Leigh Williams who dominated all three races.

Richard Green has gone all season unbeaten in the Over 45s and will be hoping to finish the championship on maximum points but looking to spoil his party will be the likes of Mark Gleadhill and Justin Napier.

In the Over 50s Steve Elford, who is still carrying a hand injury, goes into the final round just six points ahead of David Ford.

The pressure will be on series leader Jordan Barrs in the JCT Developments Junior Championship to defend his 35-point lead from Jamie Dixon with Jake Curtis-Stevens now in third but all Barrs needs to do is to be consistent and finish well up in the first two races to win the title.

The action gets under way at 10.30am. Landrake Moto Parc will be signposted off the A38 south of the Tamar Bridge. Postcode is PL12 5EP.
