British privateer Brad Todd has landed himself in the hospital with serious injuries which include a broken neck.

Todd was training at Veldhoven in the Netherlands when he was injured, suffering a broken neck C7, collarbone, two busted ribs and bruised lungs.

He revealed his injuries and some details of the crash on social media. "Its a shame with how the season was going but never the less #stillirise

"The crash was out of my hands! A kid in front tried moving out of the way on a fast jump and did quite the opposite. So I landed on him and gave the Dutch sausage a taste of Japan #kamakazikid (the other rider was absolutely fine).

"See you all soon will be under the knife shortly, if I get back to the UK. Thanks again for everyones support... these things happen."

Incredibly, Todd is already up and walking around.

It's not the first time Brad has suffered neck injury scare. In 2018 he fractured the C6 vertebrae and the Cumbrian at the time considered himself lucky to still be able to walk.

Everyone at Dirt Bike Rider and TMX wishes Brad a full and speedy recovery.
