The Culham round of the 2020 Bridgestone British Masters Motocross Championship, due to take place this weekend (March 7-8), has been cancelled due to flooding.

Ahead of the opening round, a track inspection was carried out today and unfortunately, the circuit was deemed "unusable and unsafe", organisers revealed on social media.

We are extremely saddened by this decision and we understand the frustration which will be caused, however the weather is out of our control. The safety of our riders, crew and spectators is paramount, the announcement said.

Further details will be announced soon.

The second round of the Bridgestone British Masters Motocross Championship is on April 4-5 at Hawkstone Park.
