Bring your Evo Husaberg back to life

David Lloyd of Husaberg specialists Taffmeisters has recently sourced 30,000 of new parts that have been secreted away in a warehouse in Sweden since 2003.
When the factory moved production from Sweden to Austria many items didn't make the trip including plastics, fuel tanks, decals, complete exhaust systems, suspension linkages, frames and wheels.
"I have found and bought half the stock,” said Lloyd.
"There was so much of it I started giggling.
"I have new plastics coming that haven't been seen the light of day for 10-12 years and with everything else being repairable it means an Evo Husaberg can be brought back to pristine condition.
"I won the bid ahead of an Austrian dealer because the owners love my enthusiasm for the marque.
"We even found boxes of mid-90s decals still unopened. It's an exciting time as I'm an enthusiast of the brand and owners can now take a real pride in their machines.”
Taffmeisters will have a stand at this year's Classic Dirt Bike Show at Telford on February 18/19 although shipment of the new Swedish stock isn't expected until mid-April.
