MX2 Youths set for Lyng

British Motocross Championship Lyng Joel Rizzi

This weekend at Lyng, its round two of the Maxxis MX2 Youth Championship, raising the question, can anyone topple RFX KTM Racing star Joel Rizzi?

In superb form this season, both at home and in Europe, Rizzi was the double race winner at FatCat MP in March.

Also on the podium at the series opener was Verde Substance KTM pilot Dominic Lancett, who went 2-3 to claim second. With a 4-3 show, Manchester M/C Husqvarnas Kyle McNicol secured third.

Battling through the testing winter conditions at round one four weeks ago, Max Ingam (HCR Yamaha), nailed a brilliant runner-up finish in the second race and could be a real podium threat this weekend, as could GL 12/ DEP Husqvarna runner Ike Carter.

On paper at least, up against the 250F heavyweights around the sweeping Norfolk circuit, Rizzi would seem to have a tough challenge on his 125cc machine.

But in reality, its well within his scope to dominate again.
