This Sunday the second round of the 2018 Maxxis British Sidecarcross championship takes place at Blyth near Newcastle hosted by the Iveston & Satley MCC.

Hoping to continue where they left off at round one in Ireland with an overall win are defending champions Stuart Brown/Joe Millard.

The pair have suffered machine problems earlier

in the year but they have recently been scoring good points in the world championships and the all the signs are they will be the team to beat in the North East.

Runners up in Ireland were Brett Wilkinson/Josh Chamberlain but at the time of writing it is unclear who the passenger will be this weekend.

Leading Irish driver Gary Moulds has changed passenger with last years crewman Steve Kirwin returning. They will be hoping to get back to the speed they had last year but injury problems might hamper Gary.

Among the other teams to look out for are Michael Hodges/Charlie Ide and the vastly experienced Paul Pelling and his passenger Chris Pannell.

In addition to the sidecar championship races there will be motos for the NETT Quad championship.

The circuit can be found at the PJMX track at Ferguson Business Park. Nearest postcode is NE22 7DD.
