Yesterday at the penultimate round of this years British Trials Championship, Team GAS GAS UK teamsters STEVE COLLEY and SHAUN MORRIS had no answer for Sherco mounted Graham Jarvis.

MASSIVE respect to Graham for winning yesterday and also for this years Championship.

His focus is a lesson to all his competition and i have to say that the best man won.

Shaun Morris recovered from a nightmare of a 1st lap to finish a well deserved 2nd overall on the day and also move into 2nd in the overall championship standings ahead of Steve Colley by 2 points if they both drop their respective worst rounds.

Shaun impressed me yesterday. A 'shit' first lap of 24 was followed with laps of 7 and 6 which included a '5' on section 7 (both laps) which he just couldn't get his head round, a huge undercut boulder with two lines possibly confused Shaun as he fived it both ways!

Nevertheless a well deserved 2nd place at the finish!

Steve Colley was actually leading after the first lap with a one mark advantage over GJ. However, flicking the marker out of the end of the 1st section 2nd lap, annoyed Steve bigtime! He recovered well during that lap but Grahams 2nd lap of just 2 and Shauns 2nd lap of 7 were superb!

With a puncture at the start of the last lap (as did Graham) Steve was starting to lose his head and ripped round the last lap with a total of 16 for the lap and 4th place at the finish. Not a happy bunny and a long way back to Buxton!

Who will wear the No.2 bib next year? Pressure on boys....!

A return to form for James Dabil (Beta) grabbed the last podium position.

JOE BAKER (Scorpa) won the very competitive Expert class ahead of GG Teamsters DAN THOPRE and SAM HASLAM.

This Championship will now go down to probably the last section at Skyrakes because only 2 points seperate these 3 riders in the Championship Standings if they all drop their worst round !

This years Expert Class Championship has been superb and really is a very competitive class now.

Good luck to all three and lets hope for a GG winner....or else!

Manxman, NIGEL CRELLIN, (Juan Knight GG) deserves a mention for winning the Youth Class in the absense of GG Boys, Wiggy, Danby and Bert Andrews. Welldone Nigel.

Thanks for the superb shot of Steve Colley from Andy Creig.
