Round three of the Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship heads to Helsinki in Finland where a host of British riders are eyeing up glory.

After two rounds of hot and frantic race action in Poland and Germany, both David Knight (KTM) and Jonny Walker (KTM) are chasing down championship leader Taddy Blazusiak (KTM) for the top step of the podium.

In the Women's class it's Sherco's Emma Bristow who heads to Finland as favourite to defend her title and in the Junior pack it's young guns Jack Rowland (Sherco) and the Husqvarna mounted Humphreys brothers of Gethin and Owain who will be pushing hard to claim a top three result.

At the sharp end of the Prestige class, both Knight and Walker are giving Blazusiak a serious run for his money.  At round one in Poland, Blazusiak appeared to have everything under control by taking three wins from three starts.

But that all changed in Riesa, Germany when Knight and Walker stole some of his thunder. Favouring the technical course, Manxman Knight came out swinging.

Bagging a race win in heat two he almost went on to grab the overall victory. Coming just one-point short, Knight knows that he has what it takes to get the job done in Finland.

Walker too heads to Helsinki full of life. With two SuperPole wins under his belt plus a race win and overall podium result in Germany, Walker's momentum is growing strong indoors. In Finland he's determined to up his game further.

In the shortened Women's SuperEnduro series it's defending champion Emma Bristow who heads to Helsinki leading the title chase. Dominating proceedings last time out in Germany by securing both heat race wins, Bristow is focused on repeating that result again.

Holding a six-point lead over closest rival Sandra Gomez (Husqvarna), Bristow looks good for title No.2. Sitting third overall but 10 points behind Bristow is Jane Daniels (Husqvarna).

In Germany Daniels had the pace to claim at least one race win but a series of bad luck with lapped riders prevented her from wrestling a win away from Bristow.  With it all to play for in Finland, Daniels will want to end her 2015 SuperEnduro series on a high.

In the hotly contested Junior class it's Rowland and Gethin Humphreys who lead the way of the British contingent

Humphreys – fourth overall in the standings – is aiming for his first podium result of 2015 while Rowland – third in Poland – is looking to get back on top form in Finland.

Behind them, Jack Edmondson (KTM) continues to improve with every round while Josh Gotts (TM) sits just outside the top ten.
