Crescent Yamaha joins well-established, race and championship-winning UK motocross team Cab Screens as an integral team partner in 2021.

Cab Screens MX, who are entering their 10th year of top-flight British competition, becomes the official Yamaha UK MX1 Team and will be known as Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha.

In 2021, the team will compete with the same strong rider line up that Cab Screens MX fielded in 2020, with Harri Kullas and Dan Thornhill in MX1 now riding the formidable Yamaha YZ450F and Joe Brookes in MXY1 on the GYTR-kitted Yamaha YZ125.

Crescent will lend more than 20 years of professional racing experience and knowledge to Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha in the hunt for race wins and the ACU British Motocross Championship and MX Nationals titles in the UK.

Cab Screens MX owner, Lee Webber: "This is a dream come true for me. To become the Official Yamaha UK team with backing from Yamaha UK and Crescent Yamaha is a fantastic opportunity for my team.

"We have worked incredibly hard for nearly 10 years to get to this point, and I am excited to get 2021 underway to try and achieve results that will put Yamaha and the bLUcRU on top in the UK. We have a brilliant line-up for next year which includes youth and experience, so I am really excited for this opportunity."

Crescent Yamaha Managing Director, Paul Denning: "We have really enjoyed supporting Jake Shipton since 2017 as Crescent Yamaha but 2021 felt like the right time for a change for both of us. As soon as I had initial discussions with Lee and looked into the Cab Screens operation, it was clearly a perfect fit and we couldnt be more excited to be forming Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha together.

"In Harri the team has an experienced and committed MX1 championship challenger, Dan is relatively local to us which is great and his performances have been consistently impressive, and Joe is a young rider who can fight for the MXY1 title on the YZ125. Our Crescent Yamaha MX business is growing year on year, and to be part of this excellent team reflects our commitment and passion for the sport."

Sales and Marketing General Manager - Yamaha UK, Adam Kelley: "We are genuinely excited to be a part of the Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha Team for 2021. Crescent Yamaha are not only one of our key Premier retail partners, they are synonymous with Yamaha Racing and in recent years and have already achieved some great race results including all levels in British Motocross.

"The Cab Screens team clearly offers an experienced and professional set up giving us strong presence in the paddock as a championship contender in MX1 and MXY1. The bLU cRU programme is growing and offers us a chance to seek out and reward young riders and Joe fits in perfectly into this approach. We welcome Harri, Dan, Joe and every single member of the team into the Yamaha racing family."
