red-hot rounds of racing, the KWSMX series moves to the Isle of Man's Douglas Head on April 26-27. AFTER TWO red-hot rounds of racing, the KWSMX series moves to the Isle of Man's Douglas Head on April 26-27. It's an all-new track and also the first time a major British motocross series has visited the bikesport-loving island.Leading the Open class charge is Chambers KTM's Mark Hucklebridge. "I can't wait," says Monster. "I'm looking forward to going to the Isle of Man and seeing what that's like. Ken says it's a good track out there so it should be a good meeting."Huck heads the series by a healthy 24 points over Carl Nunn who'll also be in attendance along with former world 125cc champ Jamie Dobb. The 125 class should also be a corker if the last round at Donington is anything to go by. Stephen Sword leads the series and is confident he can extend his championship lead over Y-Bike's Wayne Smith and Albion team-mate Tom Church. "It should be a good race," reckons TC. "The standard of racing at the first two rounds has been real high and there's no reason why the third round won't live up to expectations."Albion's third rider Matt Winstanley will also be there. "It's a new track," says Matt. "None of the riders will have ridden there which keeps it fresh - it'll be a great weekend."If the two Pro classes aren't enough to tempt you halfway across the Irish Sea for the weekend, there'll also be a full line-up in all the youth and AMCA races. It's also a perfect opportunity to see all the island's many tourist attractions and, to ease your passage, Ken Winstanley has arranged for discounted ferries.
