Husqvarna Motorcycles is recalling an unspecified number of its 2016 FC 250 motocross model after deviations in the manufacturing process of the connecting rod which could result in early failure were discovered.

Owners of affected machines will be informed in writing and a complete crankshaft replacement will be carried out free-of-charge by an authorised Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer.

Customers can check online in the service area of the Husqvarna Motorcycles website to determine if their motorcycle is affected by this recall.

It's the third recall of the 2016 model. In January issues with front wheel spokes were identified and last October there was a major recall amid concerns about fuel pumps and hoses.
